What happened to Kim and officer Burke after the end of Final Destination 2?

After FD1, Alex died from a brick to the head (info released in FD2) then Clear dies in the end of FD2. So if death was tying up all those loose ends, then whatever happened to Kimberly and Officer Burke? It never says anything!!
