First of all, it is completely possible to get pregnaut by , happens alot and you can't hold that against her, it was her decision and probably something she didnt want to think about and talk about. The only way you are going to get partial custody, because they won't give you full custody, they never take the child away from the mother,nomatter her past. you have to get involved in things like doctors appointments and the baby shower b/c it will help you when you have to go to court to get partial custody. You have to look involved you cant just decide to be a father when the child is born, you need to start now. You are going to be involved in your ex's life for the rest of your life because you will always have this child between you. If you werent responsible enough to be safe so she wouldnt get pregnaut, you need to step up the plate and be a man.

Boston....What's it like..?

I went there last summer I stayed at the Sheraton Hotel downtown and walked by Fenway which happened to be during the red sox/yankees game, people were nuts they were laughing at a yankee who got hurt! Anyways there are a lot of Asians in Boston and traffic is horrid there you are forced to basically take a bus or taxi to get anywhere, the downtown has all kinds of wierdos and bums. I was placed on Probation/Home detention for 6 months. I know that it only requires a preponderance of the evidence to be found guilty. My first day on house arrest, my ex-girlfriend was texting me and utilizing veiled threats against me...I got mad and made the same mistake back to her. She called the police but called a corrupt officer who lied in the police report, or at the very least left out very crutial exculpitory evidence. I am going to fight the case. I wanted to know if anyone out there was unjustly arrested while on probation/home detention? I can fight it but I don't know how probation violation hearings go. I can prove that the officer did call a different girl I was dating (he lied on the report saying that he "had interviews left to do," and never claimed to have done the interview with her, though he did and I could prove it via cell phone records or even her testimony. Furthermore, I was incarcerated for 45 days before making bail, and they only subpoenaed the text messages after 45 days. My carrier is AT&T and hers is Verizon. Anyone have any idea how long Text message transcripts are kept? And do any Probation officers or lawyers out there have advice for me?

I have a son who during spring break made a friend and I met the friends mother seemed very nice. Then later I find out the boy had just come home from juvenal hall, and he was "huffing", plus breaking into homes. Not only upset the mother didnt tell me, I put a stop to him coming around. I still can't believe she wouldn't give someone a warning, my son had never heard of huffing until then. Well now its hot, so we go to use the air conditioner, the freon is empty, after questioning my son due to the talk of huffing, weeks prior he admits that his friend showed him and they did thihs. I know he would not have had the opportunity under normal cirstances but at that time my mother was ping away and we were at the hospital every night very late. I should have kept a closer eye I know. Can this kid who just turned 18 be responsible for the 300 dollar fee to have it refilled? I am so frustrated, and also to be safe, I put my son in an outpatient treatment that specializes in huffing and there is a test to detect it in the system, this is all expensive, that doesn't matter my son is worth it, but the other kid stole the freon, my son also said they used a very small amount, I would swear that kid has come to my home and used the rest after that. I hope someone has a solution or knows if I have any right to go after him.

Why has my beef stew come out hard?

first of all....stopped looking up symptoms on the internet...unless you are a trained medical professional. there are too many variable and many symptoms can be related to other diseases. if your doctor found a cyst, it may have ruptured. this can be EXTREMELY painful, to the point of debilitating...I know, I've had many. call your doctor and get an appt asap to discuss this...and please, unless you are a doctor...stop going to the internet for answers to your health problems....very few are even reliable in the first place. and if this puts your mind to rest at all...ovarian cancer rarely causes pain until it is quite advanced, and by then you look like you are pregnant. a lot of cancers are painless until they have progressed. just something to keep in mind.

Appendicitis or paranoia?

Right now it is Sunday night for me. yesterday, Saturday morning to be exact, I felt sharp pains in my abdomen and they lasted for about an hour. To be specific, the pains felt like something inside of me was stabbing the inside of my stomach. I honestly just thought that this was gas. The pain subsided and i didn't get it back all day. Well today, sunday afternoon, i became VERY nauseous and this lasted for a few hours. I've never gone that long of being nauseous without ACTUALLY throwing up. I then got the abdomen pains back and those last for an hour. The nausea went away. I had diarrhea too. About an hour and a half ago i got the sharp abdomen pains back and they hurt so bad that i had to bend over and hold my stomach. They were only poking at one part of my stomach though and it seemed to be around my navel. well half an hour ago, the nausea came back and i finally vomited. Sorry to be really specific here, but each time the vomit came out (about 3 gags) it was a LOT of water with the food. The abdominal pain left but there is discomfort in my stomach. I'm 15 years old by the way. I don't know if i should be worried or not. My cousin died a couple years ago from appendicitis and he was only 4 :(.

Agree with OZ - it is not likely (I would say impossible) that you would be eligible for PR at the age of 16. The lowest age PR is usually igned is mid-late 20s because that is the age you are qualified for and have the education to qualify. You and your family has not been paying Australian taxes all your life so you are not eligible to take some of that money in a CS place at university. Its also unlikely that at your age you will have the necessary background to enter any university that studies law unless you are a genious. Australian education at high school is considered much better than the middle east and we are not able to get into uni until 18 and 12/13 years of schooling.

Is this apartment company being fair to college students?

For my Junior year in college I lived in an apartment complex near my university (The Grove, for anyone who has heard of it). Anyway a few months after several of my friends and I moved out, we received extremely large fees (they did not charge a deposit). When inquiring about these abnormally high fees the complex managers seemed to be be very spotty on what and why the charges were so high. Some examples are $100 for a smoke detector that was simply taken down (no damaged... just removed), $100 for leaving food in the fridge, $1200 to recarpet a living room (which was previously used when first moved in), ect. Why would I need a follow-up sonogram?

My dr's did a internal sonogram on me last week to determine how far along I was. The dr said she say heart movement and everything looked fine. I just received a call saying they wanted to do another sonogram in two weeks. What would be the reason's behind this?? The dr on the phone did say everything looked good. But once I got off the phone my mind started going crazy and wondering what the reason would be behind needing another ultra sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Some heat pumps have a oil trap just before the compressor. why is it there on some but not all?

I'm working with a 5 ton Lennox heat pump that has had 3 compressors put in it and its only 4.5 yrs old. It has a suction line dryer between the acilator and the compressor. Going into a grad program in Linguistics without an undergrad degree?

My undergrad major is in Psychology-Spanish. It is not a double major but more like half and half. I am almost fluent in Spanish and I have a good understanding of Psychology. My question is whether the fact that my undergrad degree is not in linguistics will hinder me in my acceptance to a good grad program or not. I am currently looking at UCSC and University of Delaware. I have a lot more research to do, of course. I have also read a few introductory linguistics books and have just started rereading them so I will be sure about which branch is right for me. Right now sociolinguistics and comparative linguistics are looking very attractive to me. Phonology and morphology also sound really appealing. Ever since I was a child I have been absolutely fascinated by language and I thought studying a language was the best route for me in college until I started looking at linguistics more in-depth. 4 months ago i was in the prescense of a bat in the living room, i was unaware of it for several seconds, i had no relection of being bit after that, 2 months later i was scratched by a bat and recieved rabies post exposure treatment and completed all 5 doses(up to day 28) 2 almost 3 weeks ago, the during last week i have felt cold prickling in my legs and arm(i have worried myself sick over the fear of rabies in the past). i was wondering if the bat bit me 4 months ago with out me knowing it would the vaccination after the second encounter be ineffective?

Severe constipation in my 3 year old?

My son has had severe constipation since he turned 1 years old and I stopped feeding him. It gets so bad, he will shake, sweat and can not physically walk. Today, he crawled into his bed at 11 am and didn't get out once. That is not normal for a 3 year old obviously. I have been to the DR's for this multiple times, we had an x-ray done and it shows him being backed up in the DR's words, "pretty darn bad" all throughout his colon. We have done enema's, stool softeners, miralax and the DR's "10 day plan" He might or might not go when we do these things but it never completely clears him up and he always goes back to being constipated within a few days to the point his belly is swollen (you can physically see his belly de-swell when he poops) I am getting so frustrated with his DR because I don't feel he is taking it seriously enough, my son is in pain and I don't like that! My son has an extremely limited diet due to autism sensory issues and we are in food therapy with him trying to help that but that can take years and I need help now. What do we do? What else can I request the DR to test for to see if we can find out why this happens to him?

I killed my friends dog today?

I went to visit him for a while and as I was leaving his dog got out some how and I ran it over. He had this dog for 9 years and I feel so awful about this. I think this day in age its so easy to try and keep up with the jones's and see if we can encourage our littluns to devop quicker than they're ready to. In my group of friends we all have roughly the same aged babies and it's almost like we're outdoing each other on the milestone front and trying to prove our babies have an extra talent! I've been in and out of physiotherapy for the last 5 months and am starting to hate running. What should I do?

So I've been doing track for the last 2 years. I loved it. In fact, last year I was top 100 in the nation for middle school in the 800 meters (2:19) and top 200 in the nation for the 400 meters (58.9). However, I over-trained during cross country seasoned, which caused overuse in both Achilles Tendons. I started track again in December, but was once again plagued with knee and Achilles problems. I have been in physiotherapy since then, and the future is not looking any brighter. I am starting to hate running. What should I do?

My mother is 81 and lives life and enjoys more so then some 40 year olds I know. She has 3 dogs, still able to drive safely, lives with my older sister in a log cabin on the lake, sees her grandkids often, one friend she has known for 20 plus years and she seems very happy. Can PC World replace a cracked LCD laptop screen?

A few weeks ago my laptop ( a Compaq CQ6-1433SA) fell off my bed and the LCD screen smashed, and I'm not able to see anything on the screen. I've checked and apparently the laptop's warranty doesn't cover the damage. I've got a few different quotes from various websites and I've learned that it will cost between �100 - �150 to fix. Some of these websites offer a repair but it would involve posting my laptop to the engineer and I'd be wary of doing that in case it's a scam. So I was wondering if there is a shop such as PC World or a different computer software store that I could take it to. I highly doubt they'll bother with hiring a high priced lawyer to sue you for copyright infringement, I've seen videos that are pure copyright that, I've actually seen a video that said "I'll stop posting copyright material when YouTube sucks my ". Unless your worth their time and have lots of money they'd like to have then don't worry about it why spend thousands of dollars on a legal case when you'll only get a little bit of money in the end, see why go after you when there's bigger fish to steal money from.

I did legal guardianship of a relative once and it was pure H***. I would NEVER take in another family member in any situation. Family get togethers were horrible. We too were asked to take in this family member---we were not the ones to volunteer. Think it through ahead of time is wise. How do I ease the pain of my sore throat?

I began to have a burning pain in my throat last night (WHILE I WAS SLEEPING!) and I always have a bottle of water by my bed side, so when I started drinking the water it made my throat so uncomfortable! I've been spitting out mucus and saliva all morning because I'm afraid to swallow! My friend and I were looking at a co-workers car that he just bought and on our way back inside the restraunt from our smoke break, a well respected friendly faced patron came outside and started joking around with us about racing our cars vs his. I have a 1993 ford taurus and said it would win vs his relatively new F150 and then the patron giggled and asked about if he used his super charged jaguar which my friend teasingly called a cat car in which he responded with joyful laughter. He said we didnt stand a chance as we were starting to go inside again and get back to work. We responded by saying only time will tell. The patron giggled and went back to the bar and my friend and i went back into the kitchen and started working again. About 20 minutes later we see the patron walking toward the kitchen door thinking he was coming to continue the joking around about the cars. He came right up to me and my friend and grabbed the back of our necks and followed up with a head to both of us. My eyebrough was cut and my friend suffered a headache. The was no retaliation or harm received by the patron. There were multiple witnesses and i want to sue.
