How would this Bob Marley quote translate into German?

I am a huge Bob Marley fan but I have never seen proof he said this. This saying can be found in the Temptations song Cloud Nine from 1969 before Bob became famous outside of Jamaica. So it is very unlikely someone actually has it doented that Bob said it before the Temptations song came out. Most likely it was just miscredited to Bob. If you want the tattoo I would suggest you don't include Bob's name on it. It is a good quote but unlikely to be Bob's original one.
