WikiLeaks sparks global diplomatic crisis... your thoughts?

I think there are somethings that best kept secret. Why? Because if there are information which we are holding which other people don't know that US has, its best to keep them in the dark, by "people" i mean other nations, organizations and enemies. Information is a card game in the dark room, every "cough", "laugh", "sneeze" , "fart" or "whisper" gives off something in the game,occasionally you can get some light on your opponents or allies' cards, but you try to keep your cards in the dark, if you let others know what you have, you have compromise your strategy or even your "safety" to stay in the game. Thats why for hundreds of thousands of years, the Intelligence has been such a crucial role in shaping nations, Information/Knowledge is key to many things, A nation's safety, Technological advances (I.E Intelligence agencies brought German scientists to be part of the Manhattan Project), world opinion, politics and some near world-ending moments (JFK and The Cuban Missile Crisis).
