Rectal bleeding, worried.......?

Depending on the brightness of the blood which you said is red means it hasn't traveled far.When stool is a maroon or black it can indicate bleeding in the intestines.By you saying it's light gives a good clue to where the problem is and it does sound very much like your colon or rectum.Your best bet is to tell the doctor everything even the little stuff matters if you've experienced any other symptoms, they all matter! Rectal bleeding can be very serious or nothing serious at all but try not to leave anything out.
