Is it possible to find surrogate grandparents for my 7 year old daughter?

I grew up with wonderful grandparents living around the corner, which gave immense support to my parents emotionally and as babysitters! The experience and wisdom they bring to the family dynamic is irreplaceable. The wonderful outings, imaginative games and general warmth and love, I wish my child to enjoy, particularly as she has very few relatives and a disabled mother, with a spinal injury.
