Can PC World replace a cracked LCD laptop screen?

A few weeks ago my laptop ( a Compaq CQ6-1433SA) fell off my bed and the LCD screen smashed, and I'm not able to see anything on the screen. I've checked and apparently the laptop's warranty doesn't cover the damage. I've got a few different quotes from various websites and I've learned that it will cost between �100 - �150 to fix. Some of these websites offer a repair but it would involve posting my laptop to the engineer and I'd be wary of doing that in case it's a scam. So I was wondering if there is a shop such as PC World or a different computer software store that I could take it to. I live in Belfast in Northern Ireland so it needs to be somewhere I can get to here. Please help :(
