Need to find all grammar mistakes (ton of em)?
Act 1 opened on a London street, during a rain storm. A young man collided with a flower girl. Who speaks with a strange ney accent. Shaws characters reveal his attitude; that most of the English people doesn’t have regard for they’re own language. The note taker bragged that he could teach the girl to speak like a duchess, a gentleman named Colonel Pickering introduced himself. Each of the men are excited to teach Eliza Doolittle to speak properly. After Eliza entered Higgins house she is bullied and insulted by Higgins. Eliza is frightened by Mrs. Pearce’s suggestion of a bath, she said if she had known what a dreadful thing it was to be clean she wouldn’t have come. Pickering questions Higgins motives, feeling responsible for Eliza’s safety. Elizas father heard that Eliza was in Higgins house. Where he came to demand his daughter back. Professor Higgins calls Doolittle’s bluff, he told her he could take her back!
